Greg Reaves, AIA, LEED AP
Greg Reaves is a Principal and Project Director for some of the firm’s most complex global projects. With a focus on strong client support, Greg excels at leading design teams of consultants in the design of projects across the US, Asia and the Middle East. He is the Principal-in-charge for the Mayasem urban development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the National Medal of Honor Museum in Charleston, South Carolina. Greg also plays a pivotal role in the firm’s outreach, communications, and business development activities.
Greg Reaves joined Safdie Architects as a Principal in 2010. Before joining the firm, Greg was a partner at Thomas Phifer and Partners in New York, where he was responsible for the design of more than 15 notable projects and five National AIA Honor Award recipient designs, including the North Carolina Museum of Art expansion.
Greg earned his architecture degree from the University of Kentucky. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, Society for College and University Planning, and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
