90% of Jewel Changi Airport's construction has been completed. The project will open its doors in 2019.
Work continues on Jewel Changi Airport with the full enclosure completed and the ETFE oculus piece installed. The crash deck has been fully removed and work now begins to gradually activate the conditioning systems and install the interior planting. Now completely visible are the steel tree columns which support the grid shell roof, designed together with Buro Happold in New York City and RSP Engineers in Singapore.
