Steven Snyder is the Model Shop Manager at Safdie Architects. In this role, Steven is responsible for leading a critical component of our design process. Creating scale models and mock-ups in the early stages of a project, and updating the models throughout, help both architects and clients identify potential design improvements. In addition to managing the workloads and costs associated with model creation, Steven also teaches modeling techniques to junior architects. 

Steven first joined Safdie Architects in 2006. In 2021, Steven was promoted to Model Shop Manager. Throughout his career, he has specialized in architectural modeling and discovered a passion for designing and fabricating permanent exhibitions with interactive components for applications such as art & science museums, zoos, and early education learning centers. Steven studied at the University of Toledo.
