Exhibit | Architecture as an Instruction-Based Art

Harvard GSD

Starting August 26th, the Harvard GSD is hosting the exhibit "Architecture as an Instruction-Based Art", featuring a construction coordination drawing of Jewel Changi Airport by Safdie Architects. Inspired by the collaborative nature of architecture and the instructional role architects play in the process, the exhibit serves as a celebration of the complexity of construction coordination drawings.

The exhibit is on display until October 15th, 2024 in the Druker Design Gallery.

"The unique role of architects is to conceive the concepts that dictate the precise arrangements of all elements in a building. These concepts not only define how a building will occupy its space and time, but also how it will influence the people and the environment."
