Moshe Safdie delivered a keynote lecture at the 2025 Sri Lanka AIA International Conference, The Art Within Architecture, held on October 9. 

In his lecture, Garden Typologies for the Mega City, Safdie reflected on six decades of the firm’s exploration of its founding ethos, For Everyone a Garden—examining how the reintegration of nature into the urban fabric continues to shape cities at every scale.

He appeared alongside fellow keynote speakers Massimiliano Fuksas, Founder of Studio Fuksas, and Simon Yu, Director at Zaha Hadid Architects.
