Event | 'Garden Typologies for the Mega City' Presentation

Royal Architectural Institute of Canada

Moshe Safdie’s filmed lecture, Garden Typologies for the Mega City, will be presented as the keynote lunch on May 7 at the 2026 National RAIC Conference. Prepared exclusively for the conference, the lecture reflects on major themes that have shaped Safdie’s work over six decades, including For Everyone a Garden, the architecture of belonging, and the repossession of the public realm. Following the presentation, RAIC President Johanna Hurme and historian, curator, and critic Trevor Boddy will discuss Safdie’s work and its significance within Canadian architecture.
