In a new interview with Architecture Lab's Anton Giuroiu, Safdie Architects' Jaron Lubin reflects on architecture as a collective act shaped by people, place, and collaboration.

Speaking about Marina Bay Sands, Jewel Changi Airport, and the Cherokee Heritage Center, Lubin discusses the importance of listening, communication, daylight, and designing around how people actually use and experience a place. The conversation also explores Lubin’s approach to design, the influence of architectural history and teaching on his work, and his advice to young architects.
