Safdie Architects' Jaron Lubin discusses the role of public space, nature, transportation, and placemaking in creating destinations that people return to again and again.

If Korea were to pursue a project like Jewel, the goal would not be to recreate Jewel, but to create an experience that could only exist in Korea, one shaped by its own landscape, culture, and traditions. It would be a fascinating design challenge,”
