Senior Associate
David Foxe, RA, NCARB, LEED AP is a Senior Associate at Safdie Architects. David has been an instrumental member of the design team for Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore, EDITION Singapore and Boulevard 88, and Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort. With a strong passion for cultural projects, David is experienced at leading the design and construction of iconic projects in timber, steel, and concrete. Most recently, David was an Associate and Project Manager at Epstein Joslin Architects, where he lead the recently opened Groton Hill Music Center in Groton, Massachusetts. In addition to project work, David has published, taught, and lectured widely in the United States and Europe. Notably, he served as the President of the New England Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians from 2014 to 2020, and the editorial Director and co-author of the structural design textbook Form and Forces (Wiley, 2009).
David joined Safdie Architects in 2013 and returned to the firm as a Senior Associate in 2022. David earned undergraduate degrees from MIT in both architecture and music, a research degree (M.Phil.) from Clare College, Cambridge University as a UK Marshall Scholar, and completed a Master of Architecture from MIT.
