Following the official opening of Albert Einstein Education and Research Center, Isaac Safdie speaks at FIABCI-Brasil on his experience as the project’s Resident Architect and the construction process of Jewel Changi Airport. The presentation centers around Safdie Architects’ “Inherently Buildable” First Principle, stressing the importance of full-scale mockup and monitoring construction processes in order to inform and enhance the design.

Isaac Safdie spent two years in our Singapore office during the critical development stages of Jewel Changi Airport, where he coordinated the design to meet programmatic, technical, and code requirements. Following a similar path of remaining involved through all phases of a project, Isaac relocated to Sao Paulo Brazil between 2019-2022, to take on the role of Resident Architect during the construction of the Albert Einstein Education and Research Center.

FIABCI is a representative federation of the private real estate and civil construction sector that serves social housing. It is present in more than 40 countries.
