Moshe Safdie delivers a lecture on livable spaces for the Designaddvance Architectural Competition

The Designaddvance Architectural Competition is a call to design for the "NowHere" people, the thousands of migrant workers in India who found themselves deprived of jobs, shelter, or transport services to return home. To start the discussion, AutoDesk and Capricot hosted a Design Lecture from India with Moshe Safdie. He speaks to creating liveable spaces that are adaptable, resilient, and innovative. Whether designing within high-density urban areas, like Chongqing, China or within rural areas of a severe climate like the Arctic, Mr. Safdie discusses the need for equitable access to nature, light, and community.
