Safdie Architects Senior Partner, Jaron Lubin, was interviewed by DETAIL about his thoughts and expectations for artificial intelligence in the architecture industry.

"AI does not guarantee better design. The challenge is that many images created using AI appear beautiful at first glance but are completely absurd when you analyse them carefully. At least for now, I like to think that the power of the tool is in the hands of the user. Also, we think that any tool is mostly informed by the expert inputs that drive and influence the commands. The perfect weapon is a digitally savvy designer with great know-how of how a building is put together, detail by detail."
