Safdie Architects has been named a Finalist in three categories of the 2026 Architizer A+Awards, recognizing both recent project work and the firm’s broader design practice.

The Albert Einstein Education and Research Center in São Paulo was recognized in two categories: Built – Sustainable Institutional Building and Institutional – Higher Education & Research Facilities. 

Safdie Architects was also named a Finalist in the Firm Awards, recognizing the studio’s ongoing work across civic, cultural, educational, residential, and mixed-use projects around the world.

Now in its 14th year, the Architizer A+Awards celebrate architecture and design internationally, with winners and finalists selected across project typologies, sustainability categories, and firm recognition.
