At the 2025 International Conference in Toronto, Senior Partners Jaron Lubin and Sean Scensor accepted four Awards of Excellence from the newly renamed Council for Vertical Urbanism (CVU).

Habitat Qinhuangdao was recognized as Best Tall Building by Region, Asia and Best Tall Building by Height (100–199m), while Sky Habitat received honors in the 10-Year Award category for Best Tall Building of the Past Decade and 10-Year Excellence.

Formerly known as the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), the CVU introduced its new name and mission at the conference—advocating for cities defined not by height, but by their capacity to be interconnected, livable, and humane.
